Return the hanging basket

Shame on the person who stole the hanging basket from the Lakewood Cemetery. It was hanging under a cedar tree. How low can one get? If you have a conscience, please return it.

Catch up work needed

I'm looking at the paper and find it funny in the outstanding felony and gross misdemeanor warrants that a name jumped out at me. This gal died six years ago. Maybe the police and sheriff's department should do some catch up work on the people they're looking for. I had to call the police and even tell them this person's been dead for six years. I've got a friend of a friend of a friend who knows this person. They laughed and said maybe they need to check this stuff out before it's put in the paper.

C-I parents beware

The recently published C-I MCA test scores are significantly lower than the state average in 11 of the 13 categories. In addition, while other small districts like Pierz, Pillager, Verndale, Pine River and Walker reported their alternative center test results, Crosby had "too few students." Are C-I kids getting the education they deserve?
