MINTO, N.D. -- Jacqueline "Jackie" Lizakowski, 34, Nisswa, died Monday, July 2, 2001, near Nisswa.
She was born Oct. 18, 1966, in St. Louis Park to Thomas and Maureen (Carpenter) Gerszewski. She graduated from Oslo High School in 1985. She attended North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, N.D., and graduated from Moorhead State University in Moorhead with a degree in international business. She married Daryl Lizakowski on June 17, 1989, in Grafton, N.D. They made their home in Nisswa. She volunteered at school helping children read and she also taught religious classes. She was a member of St. Christopher's Catholic Church in Nisswa.
Survivors include her husband; her parents, Minto, N.D.; a brother, Thom Gerszewski, Fridley; a sister Maggie Skappel, Minto, N.D.; and a step-grandmother, Ethel Gerszewski, Grafton, N.D.
Her grandparents, Peter and Margaret Gerszewski, and Edward and Mae Carpenter, died earlier.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Minto, N.D., with Father Feliks Lubas and Father George Zeck officiating. Burial will be in the St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Grafton, N.D.
Friends may call at the Henriksen-Kamrowski Funeral Home in Grafton, N.D., from 5-7 p.m. today with a prayer service at 7 p.m. and one hour before services at the church.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date at St. Christopher's Catholic Church in Nisswa.
