Educational and business professionals met recently to follow up a June 11 meeting about the future of the regional initiative involving six school districts, Central Lakes College, numerous area businesses, and the Brainerd Lakes Chamber's Workplace Connection.
The Bridges Career Academies & Workplace Connection is driven by local business interests to ensure a viable workforce.

It is a regional initiative involving six school districts, CLC, numerous area businesses and the Brainerd Lakes Chamber's Workplace Connection. The original partnering districts are Crosby-Ironton, Pequot Lakes, Staples-Motley, Pillager, Pine River-Backus and Brainerd.
