A Wal-Mart employee's perspective
Many say the only people in support of the new superstore are on Wal-Mart payroll. This is false. After surveys were mailed to Baxter residents, 1,207 total surveys were turned in to the Baxter City Council. A mere 53 were against. Wal-Mart employs 318 people, only 27 of whom live in Baxter.
