The Immaculate Heart Church in Crosslake will have a pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday with all-you-can-eat pancakes, eggs, sausages, orange juice, coffee and milk for $5. Children under 5 eat free. Proceeds from this breakfast go to the youth group of Immaculate Heart Church.

Many say the only people in support of the new superstore are on Wal-Mart payroll. This is false. After surveys were mailed to Baxter residents, 1,207 total surveys were turned in to the Baxter City Council. A mere 53 were against. Wal-Mart employs 318 people, only 27 of whom live in Baxter.
