Law enforcement officers from the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department, Moorhead Police Department and special agents with the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension made the arrest Friday. Law enforcement had the home that Edwards listed as his place of residence on surveillance all night Thursday and were able to locate him there around noon Friday.
Edwards was to be transported Friday to the Crow Wing County where formal charges of robbery were anticipated to be filed by the Crow Wing County Attorney's Office. He was expected to be arraigned Tuesday.
"This was a huge effort by a team of people," said Dahl. "I couldn't be any more proud of our investigative staff to make this happen."
