Routine traffic stop results in meth arrest near city of Remer

The Cass County Sheriff's Office reported Friday that a routine traffic stop near the city of Remer Wednesday ended with the driver's arrest for fifth-degree possession of methamphetamine and inimical to public safety.

The driver was identified as Kenneth Dean Peterson, 47, Remer.

Peterson was charged with a felony drug possession charge and Inimical to Public Safety and released from the Cass County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
