Anna Marie Senn, Brainerd, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2007, at the Woodland Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd.
She was born Feb. 2, 1923, in Brainerd to William and Gertrude (Peaslee) Senn. She attended rural school in Maple Grove Township and graduated from the Brainerd High School in 1940. In 1940-1941, she attended Normal Teachers Training in Crosby and taught rural school in Crow Wing Township 1941-1942. She worked for FBI in Washington, D.C., from 1942-1947. She received her bachelor's degree from Bemidji State College in 1951 and her master's degree from Colorado State University in 1967. She worked for the Social Security Administration from 1952-1980. During this time she lived and worked in Bismarck, N.D., St. Cloud, Minn., Baltimore, M.D., Seattle and Kansas City, Kan. She retired in 1980, moved to Bloomington, Ind. In 1991, she moved to New Brighton, Minn., where she was active in exercise group, golf league and was a member at Christ the King Lutheran Church. She moved back to Brainerd in April of this year. She enjoyed traveling throughout her life and visited many places around the world.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, William G. Senn; and one sister, Vivian Liners.
She is survived by one sister, Helen Rademacher; four nieces, Faye Buffetta, Irene Linn, Muriel Park and Kelley Seaton; and three nephews, Eric, William and Donovan Liners. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2007, at the Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brainerd with Pastor Ivy Borgstrom officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services.
