All 5 Cass commissioners file

WALKER -- All five Cass County commissioners filed for re-election this year.

They include Jim Demgen, first district; John Stranne, second district; Rusty Lilyquist, third district; Jim Dowson, fourth district; and Virgil Foster, fifth district.

Lilyquist filed for re-election Tuesday, the same day he was sworn into office to fill the unexpired term of the late Glenn Witham.

Robert "Bob" Kangas filed to challenge Stranne. Roswell Brown Jr. and Dick Downham have filed to challenge Foster.

Also filing to seek re-election in Cass County were Auditor-Treasurer Sharon Anderson, Recorder Kathryn "Katie" M. Norby, Sheriff Randy Fisher and County Attorney Earl Maus.

Max Loewe has filed to challenge Fisher.
