NEW YORK (AP) -- Denise Rich, the socialite songwriter whose fugitive ex-husband received a presidential pardon this year, has signed a deal to produce a book and a song, both titled "Pardon Me!"
In the book, Rich will tell the story of her marriage to billionaire Marc Rich, who fled the United States just before federal prosecutors brought charges against him for alleged tax fraud, racketeering and trading with the enemy, according to a statement released by Capital Books International of Sterling, Va.
She also will tell all about her relationship with former President Bill Clinton and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and the ensuing investigation of the pardon Marc Rich received, the statement said.
