Man stabbed at Taste of Minnesota

ST. PAUL (AP) -- Authorities are investigating the Saturday stabbing of a man at the Taste of Minnesota festival.
Shawn Williams was stabbed in the side as he fought with another man over a woman around 11 p.m. near the state Capitol, said police spokesman Michael Jordan.
Williams was treated and released from Regions Hospital.
The suspect, an 18-year-old St. Paul man, was released from jail Monday pending further investigation.
Ron Maddox, Taste of Minnesota promoter, said the altercation was a rare exception to a typically peaceful celebration.
