Rosemary C. Albrecht

MOTLEY -- Rosemary C. Albrecht, 76, Motley, died Thursday, June 29, 2000, at home.

She was born May 14, 1924, in Elkton, S.D., to James and Emma (Bentz) Vanderwal. She attended school in the Graceville area. She married Darrel Albrecht on Dec. 27, 1945, in Pipestone. They moved to Motley in November 1950 and had worked on the family farm since. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church where she was in Christian Mother's. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Jim Albrecht, Motley; a daughter, Sharon Kay Tuchtenhagen, Sacramento, Calif.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A brother, Leland Vanderwal, and a sister, Delores Pentacoct, died earlier.

Services were today at St. Michael's Catholic Church of Motley with Father Robert Landsberger officiating. Burial was in Motley Public Cemetery.

Arrangements were with Brenny Funeral Home of Staples.
