Eight-year-old Cole Shake of Brainerd finished first overall in the Scott Southern ATV Motocross National Monday at Muddy Creek in Blountville, Tenn.
He was second in Moto 1 and first in Moto 2 to earn 30 points.
Shake is ranked first in the 32-70 CVT class (age 6-11), 17th in the 29-90 Automatic Junior class (8-11), 18th in the 31-70 Modified class (6-11) and 21st in the 33-70 SS class (6-11).
He has four podium finishes this season and has won three events overall.
His other event victories, both in the 32-70 CVT class, were June 13 in the Can-Am Northeastern ATV Nationals at New Berlin, N.Y., and May 23 in the ATV Stampede at Steel City Raceway in Delmont, Penn.
Correction/clarification
Nisswa's Burrell Flanagan pitched two innings in Tuesday's completion of a suspended game against the Brainerd American Legion team.
Flanagan pitched five innings in the game June 16 when it was suspended by rain and postponed until Tuesday.
In seven total innings, he allowed six runs and 10 hits with four walks and took the loss.
