Investigators are still seeking tips on individuals seen near the area of the Barrows fire that started May 31.
The DNR, Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department and the State Fire Marshal's Office are investigating the fire and suspect that fireworks caused the fire.
Rewards of up to $2,500 may be available for information on suspects. Anyone with information should call the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office at 829-4749. A person who wishes to remain anonymous can call the statewide arson tip line at 1-800-723-2020.
The fire burned 720 acres south of Brainerd near Barrows. Property damage that includes the eight structures that were lost from the fire are still being assessed. Loss of the timber is estimated to be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
