Dear Heloise: I came up with a great solution to messy, cluttered glove compartments. Instead of fumbling around in a mess every time I needed something, I took a 4-by-8-inch mail sorter with about six compartments and stuck it in my glove compartment.
It fits perfectly and holds all of my necessities, including a rain poncho, pens, miniature flashlight, etc.
Now that my glove compartment is organized, finding things is not a problem. I just open it, and everything is right where I left it last. Just a little tip I thought I'd share! -- Jackie Merritt from Florida

Use in the utility room to store nuts and bolts.

Use for a piggy bank.
Use as a scoop for birdseed.
When painting, use as an extra paint can.
