The Fort Ripley Rebels, Pierz Brewers, Avon Lakers and Sobieski Skis wrapped up automatic bids to the Region 8C amateur baseball tournament as their Victory League regular seasons ended this past weekend.
Fort Ripley finished 8-3 to win the North Division title by virtue of a tiebreaker against Randall, which also was 8-3.
The Brewers won the East title with a 9-2 mark, the same record Sobieski compiled to win the West, and Avon claimed the South championship with a 9-3 mark.

Jason King homered, Jason Peterschick was 3-for-5 and Josh Samler, Chuck Strack and Oscar Windsperger each had two hits to lead the Cubs to victory Sunday.
Winning pitcher Nick Prozinski gave up one run in 2 1/3 innings.
Dan DeChaine homered and had two hits and Derek Schmeck and Luke Weiland each had two hits for the Braves.
Losing pitcher Luke Weiland gave up 12 hits and struck out four in seven innings. Reliever Tony Whitlock struck out one and gave up two hits in the last inning.

St. Mathias 3
Wade Barrett hit two home runs and Joe Nelson, Jeff Swenson and Chris Ebnet also connected in the Express' win over the Saints Sunday.
Swenson got the win by striking out seven, walking three and giving up two hits in seven innings.
Barrett was 3-for-4 with four RBI and Nelson, Aaron Meier, Swenson and Ebnet each had two hits for Holdingford.
Mike Innes and Jeff Grow had the only hits for the Saints. Losing pitcher James Freese struck out two, walked one and gave up five hits and seven runs in 1 2/3 innings.

Lastrup 7, Buckman 5
Donavon Daiker was 2-for-2 and his two-out RBI single keyed a four-run seventh that lifted Lastrup past the Billygoats Sunday.
Jamie Litke earned the win in relief.
Mark Cekalla had two hits for Buckman. Reliever Scott Boser took the loss.

Flensburg 10, Brewers 8
The Falcons scored two runs with one out in the ninth to pick up the victory Sunday.
Chris Bell and Mike Schwientek each had three hits for Flensburg and Matt Wenz homered.
Winning pitcher Scott Renning struck out seven and walked three in seven innings of relief.
Pierz's Scott Kimman was 5-for-6 with three RBI. Joey Tautges, Gerard Kimman, Steve Kimman and Greg Pohlkamp each had two hits for the Brewers.

Sobieski 5, Buckman 4
The Skis nipped the Billygoats Friday as Jon Czech delivered the game-winning RBI, a bases-loaded two-run single with one out.
Nate Olson was 2-for-3 and Jeff Thoma and Aaron Hennes each had two doubles for the Skis.
Chris Hoheisel was 2-for-3 and Dave Woitalla and Scott Boser each homered and had two hits for Buckman. Losing pitcher Paul Cekalla struck out 10 in eight innings.

Ray Austin was 4-for-4 to lead the Rebels to Saturday's win.
Dan Kirkpatrick, Matt Means and Scott LeBlanc each had two hits and Tony Veith drove in two Fort Ripley runs.
Jason King was 3-for-4 with two RBI and Tom Zak was 3-for-5 to lead the Cubs.
