RANDALL -- Donald Sharon, 65, Randall, died Friday, June 29, 2001, at St. Cloud Hospital.
He was born Dec. 21, 1935, in Cushing to Van and Mildred (Fisher) Sharon. He attended country school. He moved with his family to Randall. He graduated from Little Falls High School in 1953. He married Annie Packer on Oct. 17, 1953, in Motley. They moved to Minneapolis and he worked for the Rich McFarlane Stone Factory and later Franklin Manufacturing. They returned to the Cushing/Randall area in the mid-1950s. During those years, he worked road construction, drove milk truck and spent 32 years with Hennepin Paper in Little Falls, retiring in 1998. He was an active member of the Randall/Cushing Lions Club and belonged to the Wednesday morning cribbage club.
Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Cheryl Salber, Browerville, Linda Andres, Big Lake, Debbie Schnobrich, Cushing, and Julie DeZurik, Randall; two sons, Daryl, Cushing, and Mike, Cushing; 20 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry, Motley, and Larry, Randall; and a sister, Jean Davidson, Duluth.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Randall with the Rev. Linden Wendzel officiating. Burial will be in Cushing Cemetery.
