BAXTER -- Four people were arrested Friday at Mills Fleet Farm on charges of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, the Baxter Police Department reported.
The four suspects -- three men ages 24, 21 and 20, and a 16-year-old girl -- were arrested outside of Mills Fleet Farm.
The arrest was made at 6:14 p.m. after Fleet Farm Loss Prevention called the police department reporting the suspects allegedly purchased chemicals used in the manufacture of a controlled substance.
Officers seized acid, a pH testing kit, coffee filters, lye, aluminum and other substances, said Capt. Dale Walz, of the Baxter Police Department.
The three men are being held in Crow Wing County Jail pending formal charges. The teen-ager was transported to the Central Minnesota Juvenile Center.
The Brainerd Police Department, Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension assisted at the scene.
