Pequot Lakes team wins girls' hockey title
The Pequot Lakes 14-U AAA team won the Breezy Point Summer Ice Fest tournament Sunday. In the championship game, Pequot Lakes defeated the Minnesota Junior Wild 5-4 as Zoe Wolhart scored the winning goal in a shootout. Pequot Lakes also defeated the Minnesota Thunder 3-1, Cambridge 4-1 and the Junior Gophers 3-0. Front: Kat Jensen, Pequot Lakes.
