Gov. Tim Pawlenty appointed two Brainerd residents and one former Staples area resident to state boards in announcements made Monday.
All three will serve four-year terms ending Jan. 1, 2007. Each of the boards is responsible for licensing and disciplining of professionals in their respective disciplines.
Dennis Lutterman, Brainerd, was appointed to the State Board of Physical Therapy. A physical therapist for 37 years, he is currently director of rehabilitative services at St. Joseph's Medical Center.
Gerald Jensen, Brainerd, was appointed to the Board of Psychology. He is a licensed psychological practitioner at Northern Pines Mental Health Center. He also is employed at CedarBr
Kris Sanda, a former Staples area resident, is a resident of Blaine and president of Lutheran Social Service Foundation. She is vice president of the St. Paul American Red Cross. From 1991-99, she served as commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Public Service under Gov. Arne Carlson. Gov. Rudy Perpich appointed her to the Minnesota Racing Commission and Gov. Al Quie appointed her director of the Minnesota Office of Consumer Services.
She was reappointed to her second term as a public member of the Board of Medical Practice.
