ST. CLOUD - Brainerd High School linebacker Colby Ring had a team-high 11 tackles for the Outstate All-Stars in a 54-13 loss to the Metro All-Stars in the Minnesota High School All-Star Football Game Saturday night at Husky Stadium.
Linebacker Matt Moenkedick of Verndale had one tackle for the Outstate, whose honorary coach was Deryl Ramey of Willmar and Brainerd.
It was the most points ever scored by one team in the All-Star game. The Metro team had previously scored 47 points in 1987 and 1983.
The all-time series between the teams is now tied at 15.
