Most of Brainerd's children and their parents were down at the railroad tracks this morning attending a free morning "matinee" of the Clyde Beatty circus unloading. The show continued throughout the morning as animals and equipment were unloaded.

With the completion of the new bowling alleys in the Elks home, that institution will be distinctive in the respect that it will own the only bowling alleys in this city. As a start there will be two alleys 88 feet in length.

It takes more than a fire to stop an enterprising newspaper. The Brainerd Dispatch had its office burned Tuesday and Wednesday the paper was issued on time. It acknowledges the assistance of other newspapers.
