Three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision at 4:49 p.m. Tuesday on Highway 25, three miles south of Brainerd, the State Patrol reported.
One driver, Michael Logering, 20, Pierz, was driving slowly southbound on Highway 25 with his flashers on, the State Patrol reported. A second southbound vehicle, driven by Laura Otremba, 29, Pierz, was attempting to pass Logering's vehicle when Logering turned left, causing Otremba's vehicle to run into the back of his vehicle.
Logering and a passenger in his vehicle, Debra McGillvray, 47, Staples, were treated at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd and released.
Information on Otremba's condition was unavailable from the hospital.
Two injured in collision
BAXTER - Two people were injured in a two-vehicle, broadside collision at about 6 p.m. Tuesday on Highway 210, two miles west of Baxter in Cass County, the State Patrol reported.
The driver of one vehicle, Samantha Stenson, 17, Baxter, was southbound on Little Pine Drive when she attempted to cross Highway 210 and was struck by a westbound vehicle driven by Paul Odenthal, 43, Pillager.
Odenthal and a passenger in his vehicle, Andrew Schmidt, 23, Staples, were treated at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd and released.
Stenson was not injured, the State Patrol reported.
Assisting the State Patrol were the Baxter and Pillager police departments and the Cass County Sheriff's Department.
