Hole in one
Hole 14 at Madden's Pine Beach West Golf Course was victimized, June 20, as Randall Wilson of Eagan knocked a 4-iron, 155-yards to record a hole in one.
Don Ezepchuk of Winnipeg, Manitoba shot an 8-iron 130-yards to score a hole in one on the second hole at Grand View Lodge's Preserve Course.
Apple Vally's Bob Perkins used a nine-iron to knock in a 120-yard hole in one on the 9th hole of The Legacy Walk at Cragun's Sunday.
Nisswa team wins Oldsmobile Scramble
Fred Boos, Mark Ronnei, Eric Jones and Carolyn Jones of Nisswa shot a 57 to take top honors in the Oldsmobile Scramble local qualifying tournament at the Preserve golf course on Sunday. The winning team's birdie on hole 17 gave them a one stroke lead to secure the victory.
Bill Moseley, Amy Miller, Matt Stephens and Clayton Houff also of Nisswa finished second with a 58.
CREDI Kickoff Scramble scheduled
The sixth annual Kickoff Scramble to benefit CREDI fund raising 2000 campaign is scheduled for Sunday, August 20, at Cuyuna Country Club.
For a $70 per registrant or $280 for team play 18-holes, with cart and dinner included. The shotgun start begins at noon.

Birch Bay Womens results
The Pink Ball Game Wednesday, June 14, was won by Barbara Elmquist's team. On Monday, June 19, Bingo Bango Bongo Game was won by Cindy Thompson of Brainerd (twosome) Renee Marchel of Ft. Ripley (threesome) Bev Fruth of Brainerd (foursomes)
The team from the Vintage took the second round of the MGA Junior golf tournament.
Dana Hasselberg lead the squad with an 80 while Melanie Wilson and Mary Hasselberg each shot 83s.
Pine Ridge was second with a 195 and Lisa Renneke was Pine Meadow's lone golfer.
On the boys' side Pine Meadows won for the second week in a row. Jon Larsen led the way with a 76. Joe Morgan shot a 77 followed by Jim Bender's 78, Ben House's 83 and Rick Sorenson's 87.
The Vintage was second with 245. The Ruttgers team led by Ricky Aulie's 80 was third with 261 followed by Pine Ridge with a 277.
Mixed Amateur Title
Carolyn and Eric Jones of Grand View Lodge's Preserve course participated in the 10th mixed team championship played at Braemar Golf Club in Edina Monday and Tuesday.
The two are competed in the husband-wife division.
Amateur Championship qualifying
Ray Sauer's 71 and Jim Strandemo's 72 were good enough to qualify for the 97th MGA Amateur Championship which will be held July 17-19 at Bearpatch Golf and Country Club in Eden Prairie. Both played at Tianna Golf Course there home course.
