Rocheleau's homer lifts Harding

HARDING -- Harding's Dave Rocheleau hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to lead the Dinosaurs to a 2-1 win over the Lastrup Lakers in Victory League baseball action Sunday.

Mitch Becker pitched two perfect innings of relief to pick up the win and Curt Caughey went 3-for-5 with an RBI for Harding, which won its eighth straight game.

Lastrup's Rick Schlieman and Jamie Litke each had two hits in the loss.

Cuyuna Range 1

HARDING -- The Dinosaurs scored five runs in the first, highlighted by Steve Athman's three-run homer, as Harding cruised to an 8-1 win over the Cuyuna Range Miners Sunday.

Curt Caughey, Eric Hanneken and Dave Rocheleau each chipped in with two hits as Harding wrapped up the North Division title.

Pierz Brewers 9, Foley 4

FOLEY -- Gerard Kimman went 3-for-5 with a triple and an RBI and Brian Stangl had two hits, a triple and three RBI as the Pierz Brewers downed the Foley Outlaws 9-4 Sunday.

Pierz's Eric Boser added two hits, including a double and an RBI, and Chad Weiss picked up the win, giving up no runs on two hits while striking out seven and walking one in five innings.

PIERZ -- Jason Sadlovsky pitched a complete game, giving up no runs on four hits with five strikeouts and one walk while going 2-for-4 at the plate as the Pierz Brewers blanked the Pierz Bulldogs 3-0 Saturday.

Eric Boser and Alvin Kimman were both 2-4 at the plate for the Brewers, with Boser hitting a double and driving in a run.

Jeff Riley had two hits, including a double in the loss for the Bulldogs.

PIERZ -- Zach Watercott pitched eight shutout innings, giving up six hits with six strikeouts and three walks while Paul Herman drove in two runs and Jeff Riley was 2-for-2 in a 3-0 win over the Foley Outlaws Friday.
