Meghan Rahn, daughter of Michael Rahn and Bari Rahn, Brainerd, has received her bachelor of arts degree in art from Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa.
Bret Bendson, son of Loren and Mary Bendson, Baxter, has received a bachelor of arts degree from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota in Winona.
Breanna Oberschmid, Nisswa, and Jackie Wiese, Verndale, have accepted $1,000 Campus Honor Scholarships to attend Bemidji State University for the 2005-2006 academic year. The scholarship is a one-time award available to high school graduates who rank in the top 15 percent of their class with an ACT composite score of 23 or higher. They will be freshmen.
Garret Grev, son of Jean and Paul Grev, Pequot Lakes, graduated from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. He majored in English and Spanish.
Anna Kasper, daughter of Robert and Carol Kasper, Deerwood, and Grant Eller, son of Ron and Wendy Opheim, Brainerd, have been accepted at The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth. Kasper has been awarded a Benedictine Scholarship and plans to major in nursing. Eller is planning to major in psychology.
Katelyn Hilborn, daughter of Jeff and Michelle Hilborn, Baxter; Margaret Sweeney, daughter of Robert and Laurie Sweeney, Baxter; and John Benson, son of Charles and Mary Benson, Brainerd, have been named to the dean's list for the 2005 spring semester at the College of Saint Benedict/Saint John's University. Hilborn is a first year pre-medicine major, Sweeney is a first-year biochemistry major and Benson is a sophomore.
