Lake Shore woman arrested in stabbing

LAKE SHORE -- A 26-year-old Lake Shore woman was arrested for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend Tuesday night.
The woman was arrested Wednesday after North Ambulance was summoned to the Lake Shore residence. She remains in the Cass County Jail. Cass County Sheriff Randy Fisher reported the woman was expected to be arraigned on second-degree assault charges today. As of this morning, the woman had not yet been arraigned in Cass County Court. The Dispatch is withholding the name until charges are filed.
The stabbing victim, Steven P. Wacholz, 41, Lake Shore, was transported to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd for treatment of two stab wounds and then released.
