There will be a change of pace for some motocross racers competing in this week's KC Race Promotions race at the Crow Wing County Fairgrounds Friday.
They will be competing in the four-lap 85cc and 125cc plus annual Buddy Races during intermission.
Two racers will form a team and each will race two laps, one at a time relay-style.
Craig Johnson, owner of the KC Race Promotions, said the races are "pretty much won and lost at the handoff."
He added that competitors always have fun despite being fierce competitors outside the buddy races.
