LITTLE FALLS -- Tri-County Community Action Program Inc., Head Start/Early Head Start, is accepting applications for enrollment of children, of low-income families from birth to kindergarten age, for the 2002-03 school year in the Brainerd and Crosby areas.
Head Start/Early Head Start is a comprehensive child development program that provides unique education and social experiences. The program focuses on parent involvement as the primary influence in a child's education.

Right Friends picnic slated
The seventh annual Right Friends picnic will be 5 p.m. Monday at Camp Confidence.
All developmentally disabled or vulnerable adults are invited to attend. Last year the picnic drew more than 200 people.
The event will feature the first seasonal performance by Rhythm-of-the-Rails. The group will stage a performance based on Brainerd's history.
The picnic will be the second event in the Brainerd-Baxter Fourth of July weeklong American Celebration. The picnic is sponsored by the Jack Mehaffey family.
