Tank found not guilty

WALKER -- The owner of a Pillager elk farm was found not guilty of violating the DNR's game farm regulations.
June 5, Cass County District Court Judge Jay Mondry found Gary Tank, owner of Tank's Fatal Attractor, not guilty of operating the elk farm without a game farm license.
The DNR had cited Tank in December 2002. Tank contended he had his elk and deer herds registered with the State Board of Animal Health and was, therefore, exempt from DNR regulations.
