Cass County will offer the following WIC nutrition programs in July:

Pine River -- 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-2 p.m. Tuesday and 10-11:30 a.m. and 1-2 p.m. July 3, Pine River Family Center.

Walker -- 9-11:30 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. July 8, Health, Human and Veteran Services Building.

Remer -- 9-11:30 a.m. and 1-2:30 p.m. July 10, city hall.

Pillager -- Noon-2:30 p.m. July 16 and 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. July 17, Family Resource Center.

A Healthy Beginnings nurse is available at WIC Clinics to answer questions about pregnancy/childbirth and for pregnancy testing.

Cass adult health clinics slated in July

Cass County Public Health will offer adult health clinics in July.

A public health nurse will perform a senior health screening, including health history, blood pressure, blood glucose, medication management and senior health education on various topics at no charge. The senior education topic is "Memory Techniques -- Alzheimer's and Dementia."

Foot care, which includes cutting toenails, ingrown toenails and calluses, will be offered for a suggested donation of $10. Cholesterol screening is $5.

Pillager -- 12:30-2 p.m. Tuesday, Pillager Senior Center.

Walker -- 9:30-11:30 a.m. July 11, American Legion Club.

Hackensack -- 12:30-4 p.m. July 9, Hackensack Senior Center.

Cass Lake -- 9-11:30 a.m. July 16, Four Seasons Apartments.

Longville -- 1-3 p.m. July 23, YAH Senior Center.

Bring a towel and basin to these clinics.

Cass health clinics to be offered in July

Cass County Public Health will offer blood pressure, immunization and child and teen checkup clinics in July.

Blood pressure

Backus -- 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, Senior Citizens Building.

Walker -- 1-3 p.m. July 5, Health, Human and Veteran Services Building.

Longville -- 10 a.m.-noon Tuesday and July 16, Ambulance Building.

Immunizations

Pillager -- 12:30-2:30 p.m. July 16, Family Resource Center.

Pine River -- 9:30-11:30 a.m. July 3, Pine River Family Center.

Walker -- 9-11 a.m. July 23, Health, Human and Veteran Services Building.

Remer -- 10-11:30 a.m. July 10, town hall.

Immunizations available:

Preschoolers -- Diphtheria, Pertussis, Tetanus, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Polio, Hib., Hep. B, Varicella.

School age -- All the above except Hib.

Adult -- Diphtheria, Tetanus.

Charge is $3 per immunizations (bring current record). Receive a free reading book for children by getting their initial immunization series completed by age 20 months.
