The Brainerd Legion baseball team swept both games of a doubleheader with Duluth Tuesday 10-0 and 11-1 thanks to stellar pitching performances by Aaron Jenkins, Mark Germain and Mike Huesmann.
Jenkins didn't allow a run on two hits and no walks. He struck out three for the complete-game victory.
Germain started the second game and went three innings giving up one run on three hits. He walked two and struck out two. Huesmann relieved him in the fourth inning and allowed one hit and one walk with no runs. He struck out one.
In the first game, Chad Weiss was 2-for-3 with three runs and a RBI. Drew Boland finished 3-3 with two runs and three RBI and Jenkins was 1-1 with three RBI. Brad Gangestad knocked in two RBI.
Morgan Shepherd was 2-3 with one run and three RBI in the second game. Germain added a two-run triple.
