Youth baseball clinic set
A Twins Youth Clinic will be held for boys and girls beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 26 at Baxter Park.
Ages six to nine will meet from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and ages 10-16 meet from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Clinicians will focus on hitting, fielding, throwing, and the positive message of staying in school and away from drugs and alcohol. Parents are asked to participate.
Super One and Pepsi will provide each participant with a hot dog and soda and door prizes will be awarded.
In case of rain, the clinic will be held in the Brainerd High School gym.
Little Falls racer fifth
SAUK CENTRE -- Scott Atkinson, Little Falls, finished fifth in the 40-lap Minnesota Late Model Challenge Series feature Saturday night at I-94 Raceway. Earlier, he finished sixth in his heat race.
Will Kendall, Baxter also raced in the class, finishing sixth in his heat and 16th in the feature.
Cal Lease also of Little Falls finished second in his Great North Legends heat race but did not finish the feature.
