Two 17-year-olds were injured in a motorcycle accident after hitting a deer Sunday on Cass County Road 36, the Cass County Sheriff's Department reported.

County board approves landfill project

The face of Minnesota is changing. The state's ethnic make-up, which is still overwhelmingly white and German with large concentrations of Norwegians, Irish and Swedes, has long lent itself to Minnesota Scandinavian stereotypes.

Consistency is key when pitching out of the rough
When those dreaded occasions arise that you miss a green in regulation (hopefully less than 25 percent of the time) and you find yourself having to pitch out of the rough (assuming normal Brainerd lakes area rough 2-5 inches, not US Open rough) several factors need to be considered.
