Brainerd area runners run in Grandma's
Brainerd's Bradley Milbeck turned in the fastest time for Brainerd lakes area runners at last Saturday's 31st Annual Grandma's Marathon in Duluth as he finished the 26.2 mile run in 3:07:14.
Wesley Belanger of Pine River posted a time of 3:10:28 followed by Little Falls' Michael Hendrickson, who finished in 3:30:19. Brainerd's Stephen Adams finished in 3:33:01 while Michael Cady of Aitkin completed the run in 3:33:04.
Little Falls Wanda Gau recorded a time of 1:33:52 in the 17th Annual Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon to place second in the Women's 45-49 age division. Jacki Devine, also of Little Falls, finished in 1:35:47 to place third in the same division.
Little Falls' Kurt Devine posted the top time for Brainerd lakes runners as he finished the race in 1:27:18.
Brainerd's Hannah McAllister finished with a time of 20:06 in the 14th Annual William A. Irvin 5k and placed sixth overall in the women's division.
Jeppe Bundgaard of Breezy Point turned in the fastest time for Brainerd lakes runners as he finished the race in 19:48. Brainerd's William Barnacle turned in a time of 25:18, good for third in the men's 60-64 age group.
