Barbara Burk

SAUK RAPIDS - Barbara Burk, age 64, of Sauk Rapids, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2007, at her Blind Lake summer home, rural Pine River.

She was born Jan. 29, 1943, in Pine River to Charles (Earl) Goochey and Marion Amie Erickson.

She is survived by her husband, Barry; children, Gregory Burk (Carolyn), of Zimmerman, Jason Burk (Brenda), of Sauk Rapids; sisters, Charlotte Johnson, of Pine River, Carol Johnson, of Vancouver, Wash., Dorothy Prigge, of Roy, Wash.; brothers, Duane Goochey, of Baxter, Darrel Goochey, of Baxter, Kenny Goochey, of Brainerd; stepsisters, Geraldine Zrust, of Apple Valley, Minn., Patricia McCall, of Sartell, Minn.; stepbrothers, Galen Filsmeyer, of Pine River, Clifford Filsmeyer, of Boise, Idaho; grandchildren, Michael Wolter, Amanda Burk, Melissa Burk, Sydney Burk and Allison Burk.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorials may be sent to the Pine River United Methodist Women.

Services will be 2 p.m. on Friday, June 22, at Pine River United Methodist Church, Pine River. Burial will follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
