CROSSLAKE -- The Crosslake Area Historical Society invites the public to step back in time to the pre-1840s for two days of learning, fun and adventure from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Historical Log Village in downtown Crosslake.
The Crow Wing County Muzzleloaders will join the townspeople of the Historical Log Village for a two-day encampment. People will have the opportunity to visit with voyageurs and trappers around campfires, observe early ways of life and listen to storytelling.
A rug hooking demonstration and display will be held Saturday in the Ostlund Homestead at the Village. Food will be available both days.
