CROSSLAKE -- Glenn E. Milford, 84, Crosslake, passed away Monday, June 16, 2003, at Bethany Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd. He was born July 15, 1918, in Watertown, Minn., to Charlie and Selma (Anderson) Milford. He graduated from high school in Watertown, enlisted in the U.S. Army, and served during WW II. He worked as a truck driver for Ewald's Dairy in Minneapolis. He was widowed from his first wife, Truma (Niss), in 1969 and later married Maida (Smith). He moved to Crosslake after retiring. He was a member of the Crosslake-Fifty Lakes American Legion. He is survived by his wife, a daughter Peggy, and several nieces and nephews. His parents and his first wife preceded him in death. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 21, 1 p.m. at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake, with Reverend Mark Anderson officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral chapel for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be Monday, June 23, at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
