Two die when train hits car at crossing

MIAMI (AP) -- A freight train slammed into a car at a railroad crossing, killing two passengers, after the 17-year-old driver allegedly ignored warning lights.

A woman in the front passenger seat was killed instantly in Sunday's crash and a girl in the back seat died on the way to the hospital, police said.

Police said the boy driving, identified as Lazero Sanchez, disregarded crossing warnings before the crash and might face charges.
