Shirley Dear

OUTING - Shirley Dear, 78, of Outing, died June 16, 2007, at her home.

She was born on March 28, 1929, in Willmar, Minn., to Peter and Mary (Beaumont) Greenfield.

Survivors include sons, Stephen (Patti) Dear of Robbinsdale, Michael (Karen) Dear of Elk River; daughters Deborah (David) Seed of Topeka, Kan., Jody Dear of Outing; one brother, Peter Greenfield of Longville; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard; and sister-in-law Lila Greenfield.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Outing. Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis. Friends may call one hour prior to services on Tuesday. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
