COON RAPIDS - Rachel Leah Garin, age 26, of Coon Rapids, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.

She is survived by her mother, Teri, and father, Pat; grandparents, Rev. Dean and Melba Gevik, and Ellen Carlson; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2008. Friends may gather one hour prior to the service at Washburn-McReavy Coon Rapids Chapel, 1827 Coon Rapids Boulevard.
