Softball standouts

The Brainerd Blast 16-under Junior Olympic slow-pitch softball team won the Junior Olympic Classic June 9-10 at Watertown, S.D.

The Blast has qualified for the national Junior Olympic tournament July 2629 at Columbus, Ga. Fundraising efforts are under way to help send the team to Georgia.
