Junior Achievement of the Brainerd Lakes Area will honor all its teachers, volunteers and contributors, as well as their families, during an appreciation night Tuesday at Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf.

The event will be 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Pirate's Cove, 3995 Highway 371 N.

Participants can enjoy free food, beverages, prizes and miniature golf.

Photographers for Race for Cure sought

The first Susan G. Komen Brainerd Lakes Race for the Cure seeks area photographers to shoot the event July 1 near Don Adamson Field.

The photographers will shoot from 7 a.m. to noon. Photographers will be given film and suggested shot lists. All film will become property of the Susan G. Komen Brainerd Lakes Race for the Cure Committee, and may be used for future advertising and promotional ventures.
