AITKIN - Donald J. Lafferty, age 87, of Aitkin, died Saturday, June 9, 2007, at the Aicota Health Care Center in Aitkin.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 15, 2007, at 11 a.m. from the St. James Catholic Church in Aitkin with Father Paul Fruth officiating. Interment will be in the St. Thomas Cemetery in Aitkin. Military honors will be provided by the Aitkin VFW and American Legion Posts. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 p.m. with Deacon William Stein officiating. Visitation will continue Friday from 10 a.m. until the service time at the church.
