Two people were injured in a three-vehicle collision at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday on South Sixth Street and Buffalo Hills Lane in south Brainerd, the Brainerd Police Department reported.
The collision happened after one driver, Patricia Johnson, 64, Randall, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Kelly Ruff, 43, Brainerd, that was stopped at a traffic light. Ruff's vehicle was then pushed into a Brainerd School District-owned van driven by Janice Peterson, 52, Baxter, that also was stopped at the traffic light.
Peterson and a passenger in Johnson's vehicle, Mildred Whitaker, 72, were transported to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. Whitaker was admitted to the hospital, a spokeswoman said, but information on her condition was unavailable Wednesday afternoon. Information on Peterson's condition also was unavailable.

Man critically injured in June 3 crash dies
ST. CLOUD - A 28-year-old Staples man critically injured in a single-vehicle crash June 3 died Tuesday night at St. Cloud Hospital.
Isaiah Judd was a passenger in a sport utility vehicle that was southbound on Starlite Road south of Spruce Road June 3 near Staples when the driver lost control, slid off the road and rolled the vehicle.
Judd, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported to St. Cloud Hospital, where he remained in critical condition until he died late Tuesday night.
The driver, Elijah Sarbaum, 22, Motley, and two other passengers, Steven Haste, 48, Motley, and Betsy Finn, 22, Staples, also were injured in the crash.
