Gregory Park summer performers listed

Following are the performers and dates for the Performances in the Park concert series at Gregory Park in Brainerd this summer.

All performances start at 7 p.m. Performances are co-sponsored by the Brained Parks and Recreation Department and the Brainerd Eagles Club.

Today -- Paul Imholte

Imholte plays nearly a dozen string instruments, blending country hoedowns, Celtic melodies, classical transcriptions for folk instruments, humorous songs and ballads. Imholte sings and plays the hammered dulcimer, fiddle, guitar, banjo, mandolin, autoharp, viola, harmonica, jaw harp and spoons.

June 20 -- The Lonesome Tradition

This Pequot Lakes area band plays traditional bluegrass. Band members include Tim Roggenkamp, Cindy Roggenkamp, Bill Shaffer, Lacy Shaffer and Sherm Shaffer.

June 27 -- Charlie Roth

Roth has written hundreds of songs and has been a vocalist with bands.

July 11 -- Jerry Frasier

A magician, Frasier's program includes audience interaction and involvement, comedy, spontaneous situational comedy, magic set to contemporary musical soundtrack, live animals and other features.

July 18 -- Dennis Warner

Recording artist Warner blends acoustic folk/country music with humor. He recently released his fifth album, "My World."

July 25 -- Holly Garner

Singer and songwriter Holly Garner is from Thunder Bay, Ontario. She plays guitar, and her performances include original songs and cover music from artists such as Mary Chapin Carpenter and Kathy Mattea.
