Brainerd Community Night is scheduled 7 p.m. July 28 when the Minnesota Lynx play the San Antonio Starzz in a WBA game at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

Tickets are available for $32, $19 and $8. All seats are in the lower level.

Fans will receive a free hot dog and soda voucher with each ticket purchased.

The first 18 students ages 6-14 to purchase tickets through this promotion will be invited to sit on the bench before the game or participate in a pregame ball exchange with Lynx players during introductions.

Special Olympics softball begins June 17

Softball for the Brainerd Special Olympics adult team will be played 6:30 to 8 p.m. every Thursday beginning June 17.

The event will run until Sept. 30 at Oak Lawn Tavern. Coach is Pat Zolondek.
