MINNEAPOLIS -- Clarice (Newton) Brunelle Hendricks, 86, of Minneapolis and formerly of Brainerd, died Saturday, June 10, 2000, in Minneapolis.
She was born Sept. 1, 1914, in Duluth to Clara and Charles Newton. She married the Rev. Orville Brunelle. The couple traveled throughout Minnesota for Christian Endeavor and later served E.U.B. churches in Waterville, Austin and Minneapolis. After his death, she moved to Santa Barbara, Calif., to become secretary to the president of Westmont College. Later she moved to Brainerd with her second husband, Dr. Paul K. Hendricks, where they served at First Presbyterian Church in Brainerd.
Survivors include three sons, Paul Brunelle, Plymouth, Philip Brunelle, Minneapolis, and Mark Hendricks, North Carolina; one daughter, Judi Anderson, Prairie du Chien, Wis.; nine grandchildren; and seven step-children.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Plymouth Congregational Church in Minneapolis.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. tonight at Kapala-Glodek Funeral Chapel Minneapolis.
