David Stohl
AITKIN - David Clare Stohl, age 66, of Aitkin, Minn., died May 8, 2010, in Palm Bay, Fla.
He is survived by wife, Valerie; daughter, Karen; son, Tracy; son, David (Vonda); son, Rick (Niki), son, Doug (Sandy); sister, Susan; sister-in-law, Mim; brother-in-law, Jeff (Gwen); 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
David Stohl
In 1991, David went to work as a dispatcher for the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department and later the city of Crosby. At age 55, he left law enforcement and worked as the treasurer of First Lutheran Church in Aitkin. He ended his career working for Paulbeck's County Market and Ruttger's Bay Lake Lodge. He lived life to the fullest and his warmth and wonderful sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of David's life will be at 1 p.m. on June 13, 2010, at First Lutheran Church, 107 Second St. S.E., Aitkin, Minn. Lunch to be served following the service. Please be prepared to share stories/memories of David at the celebration.
