Flag Day ceremony set at Woodland
There will be a Flag Day ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Woodland Good Samaritan Village Courtyard, 100 Buffalo Hills Lane, Brainerd. There will be a dedication presentation by: Sen. Paul Koering, Mayor James Wallin, Rep. Paul Gazelka and Sen. Don Samuelson. There will be a 21-gun salute by the American Legion No. 255 and VFW Post No. 1647. The "Star Spangled Banner" will be sung by Kris Hasskamp. There also will be a Camp Ripley flyover.
Refreshments will be served following the ceremony. There will be a pie social fundraiser for $2.50 a slice. Proceeds dedicated to the canopy fund.
