Handcuffed inmate makes escape

FOREST LAKE (AP) -- Authorities searched the area Monday night for a Chisago County inmate who escaped through the open window of a deputy sheriff's car.
The handcuffed inmate, whose identity wasn't released, was being transported from Chisago County to Washington County, where he faces unspecified charges.
